Adopt a Dog
We are always looking to place some of our older sled dog companions with owners who would like a gentle loving canine.

If you are interested in expanding your family and would like to adopt a dog please see the below list of dogs who are currently available for adoption.  Contact us if you are looking for a particular type of dog  (age, sex, etc) who may not be listed here.

Adoption Dog One: Druid
Welcome to my life as a sled dog!

Druid is a 1 year old male.  He is smart and attentive.    He travels well in the car.  He has been home with many guides and respects the house.  Submissive and

playful with other dogs, he loves to go on walks and romps in the woods.   Druid has the high energy of a  yearling, but also  the calm disposition to settle down and be quiet inside the house.  He is eager to become someones special new pet.

Adoption Dog Two: Dare
Adopt Me!, photo of Dare, a brown, black and white alaskan husky

Dare is a 10 year old female. with strinking brown and black markings. She is quiet and mellow with a friendly disposition.  She balances soaking up the attention with contented naps. Her thin coat won't cover the sofa in fur.  She's still up for regular walks, but won't demand marathon workouts to stay happy.

Adoption Dog Three: Inigo
A fury white yearling named Inigo - up for adoption.

Inigo is a 1 year old fuzzy white male. He is very people friendly and very sociable.  He plays well with other dogs, but unfortunately dislocated his hock early in his sled dog career.  He spent six weeks inside healing and has made a fine recovery.  He was quiet and content inside healing and has made a fine recovery.  He is now looking for a loving home for the next chaper of his life.  Yes, he can still go on romps , but  simply isn't up to the demands of a working dog's life.

Adoption Dog Four: Hester
B/W sled dog with big attentive ears - it must be Hester!

Hester is a 10 year old female.  The perky attentive ears are trademark of this smart affectionate lead dog who is looking to retire in style.  If you can cover long term care insurance for her, and can spoil her with plenty of love, a healthy organic diet and gentle walks, please submit an application addressing why Hester should come live with you. She's one of our favorites, and we want an exceptional home for her golden years.
