| Winter has come to the north woods! |
The first snowy training run of November. |
We are training dogs for the season on ATV's but as you can see we are now training in SNOW! Training and conditioning our dogs is our best secret for providing great trips. We have a lot to offer in great food, scenery and adventure but the most important element is our dogs. They are truly spectacular animals.
Along with all the training to get the dogs into shape they are also getting tune-ups. Morgan is in charge of that. Below is the youngest staff member, Morgan McClelland giving Taulpin's ears an adjustment. |

| Lodge Based trips combine the best of both winter worlds. |
Pamper both your adventurous spirit and your leisure side. This comfortable trip has you nestled in a cozy lodge for four nights and mushing your own team during the day. Lakeside lodges include either a relaxing sauna or hot tub for finishing the day in style. Our Premier Lodge Based trip on Feb 4-8 still has openings.
We still have some openings for other great trips this winter; however they are filling up faster than ever before. So look now towards your winter adventure.
And do not forget our late March trips: warmer weather and great frozen lake travel. |

Enjoy driving a dog team through the BWCA or Superior wilderness. |

We look forward to seeing you this winter!

| Notes from the trail |
"Theo and Christina took us over hill, dale, lake, creek and timber on one of the most exceptional journeys of our lives. We saw areas only captured in postcards. Truly beautiful here. The yurt was a learning experience, too. Not being campers by nature, we had much to learn about staying warm in 12 degree temps. Our good guides showed us well. I can't think of a better way to beckon in the New Year."
