A White Wilderness trip is a complete package. We provide everything except personal clothing. (Some winter clothing is available for rent.) All prices include lodging, meals, guides, instruction, equipment, and of course, the dog teams. Transportation to the kennel is not included.

Learning how to harness a sled dog.

A deposit of $100 per person is required at the time you make your reservation. The balance is due 30 days prior to the start of your trip. All prices are subject to Minnesota sales tax. We accept Visa and Mastercard online, and personal checks via mail.

At the time of your reservation we send you our "Guide to Keeping Warm" along with other information you will need to know.

If you need to cancel your trip 30 days or more before the start of the trip, you can apply the $100 deposit to one of our trips within the next year.

Give the unique gift of a sled dog trip. When you give the gift of a sled dog trip, we send the recipient a gift certificate along with their confirmation packet.

Group Rates For groups of six or more adults, receive $50 off per person. For groups of ten or more, the coordinator receives their trip free. For information on custom programs and non-profit group programs - click here. (see other section)

Youngsters For kids 12 and under we offer discounts of 20% off the adult price. The minimum age is 8 for day trips. However, some trips are unsuitable for young kids. Minimum age for wilderness camping trips and the winter odyssey is 16. Generally speaking, traditional style trips are designed for families with children. There is some flexibility when booking a custom trip or private group. Please call us to discuss the best options for kid-friendly programs.

Family Discounts Two parents receive a 10% discount when accompanied by two children (each receiving the 20% discount).

Returning White Wilderness Mushers Returning mushers each receive a $75 discount. Each friend brought along who has not yet been on one of our trips receives a $25 discount.

Those Traveling Alone Use our single occupancy rate to pay for lodging costs incurred for your private room.

Discounts apply only to multi-day trips, and only one discount applies per person, per trip.
