We just got back from our annual training event we attend at Button Box campground. This event is fantastic. The unique feature is that there is great diversity in mushers. This year we had a total of 440 dogs and about 45 people. There were racers with large teams and recreational mushers with carts and smaller teams.
Many kids were there zooming around on carts with their dogs.
There is a great group from Chicago that attends each year. It is amazing to listen to their stories on how many musher there are in the Chicago area.
The most fun part is getting to pass in the crowded conditions. Here is a video that will let you see it.
