Solo Day Trip White Wilderness

Drive Your Own Dog Sled – Solo Day Trip

Our Solo Day Trip is a Premier style trip that sets the standard for a top quality dog sledding experience. On these trips, every participant drives their own White Wilderness solo sled with a team of four to six Alaskan huskies. This format allows us to run farther and faster than on traditional style trips. Solo sleds enhance your experience by giving you more time on the runners to improve your skills. A solo day trip includes full instruction, guides, gear and a hot trail lunch. Covering between 20 and 40 miles of scenic lakes and trails, the Premier Day Trip (one person per sled) gets you out in the wilderness for about six hours and requires active participation; harnessing your team, giving commands and driving your team for the day. We will meet your group (two minimum) at our kennel trailhead where we begin our adventure. Ideal for hands on learners, aspiring mushers, adventure seekers and those who like to be in the drivers seat. Minimum age 8 (drives with a guide) or 12 for a solo sled.

Group Rates: For parties of 4 or more on solo sled trips, take 15% off per person.
