A Day of Dog Sledding & Ice Fishing – It Doesn’t Get Better Than This
A guided dogsled day trip in to the pristine Boundary Waters wilderness. Learn to drive a dog team as we make our way across frozen lakes and portage trails en route to some quality fishing destinations. Spend the day fishing for big things under the ice – typically northern pike or lake trout, depending on the season. Knowledgeable fishing guides insure a memorable day on the lake. Our fishing trips are primarily custom trips for your group of 2-6 travelers. Join one of our trips on the schedule, or contact us with your dates and we can design a trip just for your group. Custom trips can be arranged premier or traditional style. The best time to go is mid-February through the end of March. Ice fishing season here runs Jan 15 – Feb 28 for most fish, and Jan 15 – March 31 for Lake Trout.
Note: All fishing gear is provided. You may purchase a one-day MN fishing license in town, prior to the trip. Trout stamps are not required for single day MN fishing licenses. Kids under 16 may fish for free on a parents’ license.
Group Rates: For groups of four or more on solo sleds, or groups of six or more on shared sleds, take 15% off per person.
