A Great Trip For First Time Mushers

Meet your guide for dinner on the first evening and learn about dogsledding. You can choose your adventure from two itineraries. Both get you three days of dogsledding but you choose either one or two nights at the yurt. The complete itinerary is below.

Two people will share a sled, alternating riding and driving. This is great for those who are unsure of the physical challenges or like the camaraderie of mushing with a partner. We’ll stop mid-day for a hot trail lunch and homemade cookies. Expect to gain skills and confidence maneuvering the sled as we explore scenic trails on this first full day.  Our heated yurt is the perfect place to spend the evening for winter solitude.
