SOLO DAY TRIP
Drive Your Own Dog Sled
Our Solo Day Trip is a Premier style trip that sets the standard for a top quality dog sledding experience. On these trips, every participant drives their own White Wilderness solo sled with a team of four to six Alaskan huskies. This format allows us to run farther and faster than on traditional style trips.
Meet your guide for dinner on the first evening and learn about dogsledding. You can choose your adventure from two itineraries. Both get you three days of dogsledding but you choose either one or two nights at the yurt.
Weekends & Holidays: $395/person
Weekdays: $350/person
Minimum group size: 2 guests with 1-2 guides. Minimum age 8 with a guide, age 12 for Solo sled.
*Group Rates: For parties of 4 or more on solo sled trips, take 15% off per person.
One Person Per Sled
Arrive at the kennel, check in at the office and confirm that your gear will be warm and toasty for the day. Then you will meet your furry traveling companions. We will teach you the essentials of driving a sled and harnessing dogs. Once all the dogs are harnessed, we will set off for the day, exploring National Forest trails and lakes. Return to the kennel by 3:30pm.
