INTRO TO DOG SLEDDING
3/4 Day Trip
Cruise through the winter wonderland, exploring the delightful northwoods trails with friendly Alaskan sled dogs.
This four-hour action packed adventure is great for families and kids. You get the same mushing time as a half day trip adding in a stop mid-way for a hot lunch on trail (homemade soup or a campfire with roasted bratwurst). Starts at 10am and concludes around 2pm. Multiple parties may be combined.

Two People Per Sled
For good control of the sled and quick steering response, one person drives the team while the other one rides – snuggled inside the padded sled bag. Share riding and driving with your sled partner throughout the tour.
Jerod is a native of Ely, MN. He is an avid outdoorsman and guide. He spent his youth exploring the Boundary Waters by canoe and dog team. He has built his own Native Bait business supplying local shops for fishing season. He also is an accomplished bird waterfowl hunting guide in North Dakota. He is known for his calm demeanor and steadiness in teaching guests about dog sledding, ice fishing, and sharing his love of the north woods.
