TANDEM DAY TRIP
Tandem Day Trip
A day trip includes full instruction, guides, gear, and a hot lunch. Covering between 20 and 30 miles of scenic lakes and trails, the Tandem Day Trip (two people per sled) gets you out in the wilderness for the day. Meet at our kennel to begin the adventure. The minimum group size is 2 guests. Multiple parties may be combined.
Arrive at the kennel, check in at the office and confirm that your gear will be warm and toasty for the day. Then you will meet your furry traveling companions. We’ll teach you the essentials of driving a sled and harnessing dogs. Once all the dogs are harnessed, we will set out for a fun-filled day in the woods.

Two People Per Sled
On our tandem trips, two people share one dogsled, typically with one standing on the runners and driving the team, while the other sits inside the padded sled, with a warm lap blanket and front row view of the trail zooming by. You may change rider and passenger roles throughout the day, depending on energy and stamina. The minimum group size is 2 guests. Multiple parties may be combined.
