SUGGESTED REVISION
Interested in experiencing the excitement of dogsledding but feel you are not ready or able to drive your own team? Sign up for an introductory experience with a seasoned guide and our friendly Alaskan huskies for just a taste of winter adventure by dog team.
This 60- to 90-minute experience at the kennel includes time spent learning about the dogs, the dogsleds and other equipment used, meeting your team, and of course the 20- to 30-minute ride. Each pair of participants plus the guide share a special “double driver” sled. With one of you in the sled basket and the other in the second driving position next to the rider (where you can sit or stand), your guide commands the team from the primary driving position at the back.
Upon returning to the kennel there will be ample opportunity to pet the dogs and hand out treats.
This experience is perfect for large groups looking for a special adventure, or people curious about dogsledding.
